Tonight after work I took a stroll through Oxford, it astounds me how beautiful the city looks at night. Especially after you’ve stripped the leaves from the trees, October. It’s the one time loneliness is a comfort and I feel like I can breathe again.
I think of all the history these streets hold and realise how lucky I am to be in such a wonderful place - no matter how often I try to leave a part of me will always remain in Oxford and the buildings that echo so much joy and happiness.
It’s nights like these it gives me a chance to enjoy you. Wrapped up in my coat with a hot chocolate listening to music I long for these nights to never end.
